The Lobby

Charley Sinden, Executive Chef

Lobby-chef“My father is probably where I get most of my inspiration from,” says Chef Charley Sinden who has been delivering amazing dining experiences to lucky patrons across the country for over eleven years. After growing up in a household where his father regularly cooked “king’s feasts”, Chef Sinden began his career in Arizona, working for many of the premier chefs in Phoenix. Chef Sinden did his best to learn from each of them: Chef Justin Beckett, Chef Mako Sagwa, and Chef Stephen Stromburg to name a few. Wanting to broaden his experience and develop his culinary skills further, Chef Sinden left the extreme heat of Arizona and headed for the extreme wilderness of Alaska. Cooking with fresh, local ingredients and having nature right at his doorstep, Chef Sinden realized that Denver, Colorado would be the perfect blend of nature and civilization for him to perfect his style of cooking. In 2006, Chef Sinden began working at Denver restaurant Nine75 and has lived here since.

The Lobby is proud to present Chef Charley Sinden and his inventive and delicious creations. Chef Sinden’s informal, yet elegant, cooking style fits in perfectly with The Lobby’s goal to provide “good food for people in jeans.” Stop by and say ‘hi’ to the Chef.

Chef Sinden maintains a website that showcases garden cooking and can be seen on Sunday mornings on Denver ABC 7.
